Our AI implementation process for SMEs

One workflow first, then measurable ROI, then scale

Buying a platform and “rolling out AI” across the company is how projects stall. Our process is deliberately narrow at the start. You pick the bottleneck that burns the most hours or money. We design an AI worker for that path of work. You see a clear before/after number in weeks. Only then do we expand. That sequence — one workflow → measurable ROI → scale — is how SMEs in the USA, Mexico, and Europe get durable results instead of unused seats.

The four-step AI implementation process

  1. 1. Map the bottleneck. We sit with operators and walk the real process — not the slide deck version. Typical first targets: lead qualification and follow-up, support triage and replies, invoice or order processing, weekly reporting packs, or multi-system handoffs. We define a metric you already care about: hours saved, cycle time, first-response quality, error rate, or revenue recovered.
  2. 2. Select proven tools. We choose models, automation platforms, and integrations that fit how you already operate. No forced rip-and-replace of CRM or ERP. The goal is workflow fit: tools that wrap around intake, approvals, and follow-up instead of inventing a new process map for your team to learn.
  3. 3. Engineer and deploy an AI worker. We build the worker that removes busywork inside the existing path — with human review where risk requires it. Examples include drafting customer replies from your knowledge base, extracting fields from invoices into your system of record, or preparing weekly ops summaries from scattered sources. Deploy means live in production, not a sandbox demo.
  4. 4. Prove ROI in weeks, then scale. We measure against the agreed metric, document the runbook your team can operate, and only then map the next bottleneck. Scale is earned. If the first win is fuzzy, we do not paper over it with a broader rollout.

What this looks like in practice

A services SME drowning in inbox triage starts with step 1 on support intake, selects tools that plug into their helpdesk (step 2), deploys an AI worker that drafts and routes replies with human approval on edge cases (step 3), and proves hours saved within weeks before touching sales ops (step 4). A distributor starts with order exceptions. A founder-led team starts with reporting that eats every Monday morning. The steps stay the same; the bottleneck changes.

This process is for operators who need leverage without hiring a transformation army. If you want the POV behind why implementation beats tools, read our POV. If you are ready to start, use the contact path below.

Questions about the AI Lyft process

How long does an AI Lyft implementation take?

We aim to prove ROI on the first workflow in weeks, not quarters. Timeline depends on data access and stakeholder availability, but the process is designed for a single owned outcome before any broad rollout.

Do we need to replace our CRM or ERP?

No. AI Lyft implements AI workers around the systems you already use. We select proven tools and integrations that wrap around existing workflows instead of forcing a rip-and-replace.

What happens after the first workflow succeeds?

We document the win, hand off runbooks your team can operate, and scale to the next bottleneck with the same map–select–deploy–prove loop. Founders who want ongoing leverage can also start from /entrepreneurs/.

Who owns the AI worker after go-live?

You do. We engineer for durability and clarity so your operators can run the workflow. Support and iteration options are discussed at /contact/ based on your team's capacity.
